With no real beginning, middle or end, this inside look at the dog-eat-dog world of the Hollywood movie business meanders, making it hard for viewers to remain interested. This fictionalized adaptation of Art Linsons memoirs stars Robert De Niro as a prideful movie producer who is constantly battling crises on his cell phone. Other characters include an eccentric British director (Michael Wincott) with unwavering artistic standards and Bruce Willis (as himself) refusing to shave his grizzly mountain-man beard. Director Barry Levinson forces viewers to ask themselves if they care about these shallow people. Unfortunately, the answer is no.
