Ben Kingsley narrates this informative if somewhat flat documentary about Winston Churchill. The film certainly reaffirms the notion that Churchill was a badass, as his policies undoubtedly emboldened Great Britain against the Nazi threat during World War II. Much of the footage deals with England’s participation in the war; the film actually loses a little focus at times when it comes to its title subject. Still, everything covered is interesting and informative. The modestly produced film seems more suitable to PBS than a movie theater. Still, people looking for a good history lesson will surely appreciate it.
