UA Conversations on Compassion Lecture Series -- The Neuroscience of Empathy and Compassion

What is the difference between empathy and compassion? Can these traits be trained? Al Kaszniak, Professor Emeritus, Department of Psychology, University of Arizona, addresses these questions and explores the research on brain processes that influence the cultivation of these emotions.
