SPORTSAMATEUR BOXING. Kino Veterans Memorial Community Center. 2805 E. Ajo Way. Pima County Parks and Recreation, Centro del Sur Community Center, Aztlan Youth Boxing Program, and Yoeme Boxing Team present an Amateur Boxing Competition, featuring clubs throughout the state of Arizona. Competition begins at6 p.m. Saturday, October 10. A $3 donation is appreciated. Proceeds are for Aztlan Youth Program, Inc. Children under 12 are admitted free. Advance tickets are available at Centro del Sur Community Center, 1631 S. 10th Ave., and at Kino Veterans Memorial Community Center.
RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB. Tucson Magpies Rugby Football Club practices (for their upcoming Arizona Rugby Football Union season) are from 6 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday through April at Oury Park, on the northeast corner of St. Mary's Road and I-10. ULTIMATE FRISBEE. The Tucson Ultimate Frisbee Club announces
free, co-ed pick-up games at Himmel Park, starting about two hours
before sunset every Sunday. They also organize leagues and tournaments
throughout the year, and there's a club at the UA for students.
