LECTURESARROWHEAD MANUFACTURING WORKSHOP. Old Pueblo Archaeology Center. 1000 E. Fort Lowell Road. Allen Denoyer offers a flintknapping workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, October 3. Paticipants will make an arrowhead out of obsidian and other stone, and learn how prehistoric people made and used such artifacts. Participants may bring a lunch if they wish to continue working into the afternoon. All equipment is provided. Fee is $16 per person, with discounts for Old Pueblo Archaeology Center members. HANDS-ON ELECTRIC. Women Build Houses, a network dedicated
to increasing women's access to building skills and knowledge,
and to promoting environmentally-safe building, presents a workshop
on how to safely wire electrical circuits. The class teaches how
to repair/wire electrical outlets and switches, and test circuit
breakers and fuses. Class runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday,
October 6. Advanced registration is required, and childcare is
available. Class fees are based on a sliding scale, with a discount

Internationally acclaimed choreographer Mark Morris presents Unlocking the Creative Process, a free symposium moderated by UApresents director Ken Foster, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, in Room 102 of the UA Center for English as a Second Language (CESL), 1100 E. WOMEN FOR SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES. In partnership with
the Sierra Club and the UA College of Architecture, Women for
Sustainable Technologies holds their fourth-annual conference,
Planning for a Sustainable Future, from 7:30 a.m. to 5
p.m. Saturday, October 3. Conference meets at the UA College of
Architecture, and focuses on a variety of land use issues and
